Today I feel my aspirations renewed, restored so to speak. I know this quote had always been around, I guess it just caught me at a good time when it seems everything around me is going down. Now I know it may sound cheesy and all but here it goes. " Without the bitterness of winter, we would never cherish the warmth of summer. If we've never tasted defeat, we would never truly appreciate our victories. I don't know who the author of this particular quote is but a big thanks to him all the same. Now where I am from, there is no winter. Philippines is a tropical nation after all and we have only 2 seasons, the summer and the rainy season.
